In this 12-week course, you will:

- Refine these patterns through repetitive "hand practice" to achieve mastery

- Develop strength, speed, and stamina vital for fuller and sustained mrdanga rhythms

- Learn techniques for increasing flexibility and control in both hands

- Explore rhythmic variations and improvisations upon the fundamental patterns

- Put it all together to progress your mrdanga skills to the next level

The course will culminate in a final practice session where you will be able to demonstrate your newfound fluidity and control over the mrdanga. With consistent hasta-sadhana, you will be able to express yourself fully through rhythm and offer melodic mrdanga accompaniment to kirtan.
